1. Before unpacking and installing the cylinder, it should be checked for any damage during transportation, whether the connecting rod nuts or threaded connections at both ends are loose, and whether the anti rust oil and protective cover (cap) are removed before installation and use.

2. When installing the cylinder, attention should be paid to the fact that the cylinder piston rod should not bear eccentric or lateral loads. The direction of movement of the load should be consistent with the axis of the piston rod. It is best to use movable V-joints or joint joints for the connection between the long stroke cylinder load and the piston rod. Regardless of the type of open installation, it is necessary to ensure that the cylinder mounting base has sufficient rigidity.

3. When the cylinder block is used horizontally, the "three-point method" can be used for inspection. Firstly, connect the piston rod to the load. When the piston rod is fully extended, place a level in the middle of the rod to observe the horizontal situation; Secondly, when the piston rod is in the middle position, place a level on the piston rod near the front end cover of the cylinder to observe the situation; Finally, when the piston rod is in the retracted position, there should be no other force phenomenon. When installing a long stroke cylinder horizontally, appropriate supports must be provided to prevent the piston rod from sagging and the cylinder from deforming.

4. The cylinder installed with front and rear flanges and tripod should avoid direct bearing of thrust or tension loads on the bolts.

5. When using a cylinder with a single or double ear tail or a cylinder that swings in the middle, the position of the connecting pin at the top of the piston rod should be in the same direction as the position of the mounting shaft. There should be appropriate clearance between the tail single or double ear or swing cylinder and the mounting bracket.

6. After the cylinder is installed, it should be operated under working pressure for 2-5 times without load, and the cylinder buckle should be checked for any abnormal phenomena.

7. Cylinder speed regulation. When there is a certain requirement for the speed of cylinder movement, a one-way throttle valve must be installed in the pneumatic system. In general, when the cylinder is horizontally installed, the speed of the exhaust throttle cylinder is relatively stable. When air inlet throttle speed regulation is used for vertical installation of cylinder, first connect the cylinder with load, adjust the speed regulating valve to the middle of the adjustment range, and then adjust the output pressure of the pressure reducing valve. When the cylinder speed is close to the specified speed, it can be determined as the set pressure, and then use the speed regulating valve (throttle valve) to fine tune.

8. Using an adjustable buffer cylinder, open all buffer control valves before operation, and gradually increase the damping value until satisfactory. When adjusting the buffer needle valve, clockwise rotation increases damping and counterclockwise rotation decreases damping.
